Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure B2C Consultant with deep expertise in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) using Azure AD B2C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing secure authentication and authorization frameworks tailored to enterprise and customer-facing applications.
This role demands strong hands-on experience with custom policy development, claims management, SSO federation, and troubleshooting identity flows across complex systems. The consultant will work closely with architecture, security, and application teams to deliver scalable and compliant identity solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy Azure AD B2C tenants, including custom policies and user flows.
Develop and maintain federation and SSO integrations with third-party identity providers.
Customize claim transformations, token issuance policies, and attribute mappings.
Implement authentication flows using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
Utilize Microsoft Graph APIs for automation, policy management, and reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authentication, federation, and token exchange.
Work with development teams to integrate B2C authentication into web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with IAM architects and security engineers to align with compliance and security frameworks.
Support migrations from legacy IAM systems (e.g., ForgeRock, Okta, Ping) to Azure AD B2C.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and configuration guides.
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in IAM or security-focused engineering/consulting roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure AD B2C, custom policies, RESTful technical profiles, and XML-based configuration.
Deep understanding of identity federation, authentication flows, and token-based access models.
Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
Proficiency with Microsoft Graph APIs and PowerShell scripting for automation.
Experience integrating Azure B2C with enterprise and consumer-facing applications.
Knowledge of security concepts, Zero Trust models, and access governance.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
