Anoka - Hennepin School District is hiring Adventures Plus Before School Child Care Assistants to supervise, engage, and inspire school-age children in a dynamic before and after-school program environment.

As a Before School Child Care Assistant, you’ll work in dynamic, lively environments such as cafeterias, gyms, and playgrounds, with frequent indoor and outdoor activities. A love for busy, active spaces—and a positive, adaptable attitude—is key to success!

Your Role Will Include:

• Supervising and engaging with school-age children. 
• Assisting with daily program setup and snack service.
• Leading fun and inclusive activities. 
• Supporting positive behavior management. 
• Collaborating with the team.
• Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all children.

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Ability to adapt to busy, active indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and role model.

Salary and Benefits:

• $18.01/hour with High School Diploma or equivalent.
• First-aid certified and CPR trained upon hire within 90 days - provided free of charge by Adventures Plus.

Location & Shift Times:

• 24 Elementary Schools across the district in the communities of Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Ham Lake, or Ramsey.
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM (hours may vary depending on site location).
