Position Overview:
In this role, you will provide specialized consultation for disability determinations, review medical records and diagnostic reports, assess impairments related to hearing, speech, or vision, and advise adjudicators in accordance with federal guidelines.

✅ Qualifications:
✓ Advanced degree (MD, DO, AuD, PhD, or equivalent) in Otolaryngology, Audiology, Vision Sciences, or related specialty
✓ Current, unrestricted license in your medical specialty (any state)
✓ Licensed to conduct business in Washington State
✓ 2+ years of post-graduate specialty experience
✓ 5+ years of consultation experience (preferred)
✓ Must not be excluded from federal programs (Medicare/Medicaid)

✅ Key Responsibilities:
✓ Review and interpret specialty-specific medical records (hearing, speech, or vision impairments)
✓ Assess the severity and impact of impairments on functional capacity
✓ Provide expert consultation to staff on disability determinations
✓ Participate in quarterly meetings to improve adjudication processes
✓ Ensure compliance with protocols and disability guidelines
