Were looking for a mechanic who is also willing and able to assist with field installations. This hybrid role combines shop-based mechanical work with hands-on site activity, supporting the setup and dismantling of our access systems at job sites.
What You'll Do Mechanic / Installer Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair of our clients equipment (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical).
Conduct mechanical inspections and diagnose issues in the field or in the shop.
Troubleshoot and support customers and internal teams with technical issues.
Read and interpret engineering plans, installation layouts, and technical drawings.
Support the installation, operation, and dismantling of mast climbers, construction hoists, transport platforms, and elevators at construction sites.
Train end-users and customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Collaborate with project managers and customers to ensure efficient, professional jobsite interaction.
What Were Looking For:
Mechanical knowledge in hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine repair (welding is a plus).
Prior experience in construction, particularly scaffolding or access system installation, is a major asset.
Clean driving record; valid drivers license.
Forklift operation and rigging certification (or willingness to obtain).
OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.
Willingness to travel frequently and participate in on-site work as needed.

Must be fully comfortable working at significant heights with absolutely zero issue this is a critical part of the role.
Comfortable transitioning between shop work and active job sites.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.
Team player with strong organizational skills and a sense of accountability.
