Medical Assistant - Certified. 

We are an established medical office in Port Charlotte, Florida looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. We work hard to serve patients and provide an informative and enjoyable time in our office. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves patients by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
• Rooms patients and obtains medical history.
• Assists with patients’ questions via telephone.
• Assists providers with procedures.
• Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating the needs of our patients.
• Contributes to a team effort to joyfully serve our patients' needs. 

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Hiring full and part-time
• Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, and life, and disability insurance. 
• We have generous holiday, vacation, and sick time policies.
• Hours are Monday through Friday. They can be flexible, but do not include nights or weekends.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Medical Assisting Certification or Certification in Progress.
• Telephone Skills.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Must have experience with computers. 
• Previous experience in medical offices preferred.
