Job Description – PARALEGAL – OFFICE OF THE GENERAL COUNSEL (250006MX)

Position Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience

1. High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.)
2. Five (5) years’ experience as a paralegal; or,
3. Completion of an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program of education and training for legal assistants, plus two (2) years of legal experience;
4. An associate’s degree in Legal Assistance from an accredited college/university;
5. Completion of an institutionally-accredited legal assistant’s program consisting of at least 60 credit hours, including 15 credit hours of substantive legal courses, plus two (2) years of legal experience; or,
6. Certification by the National Association of Legal Assistants, plus two (2) years of legal experience.

Licenses and Certifications

A valid driver’s license or state‑issued identification card.
