A well-established organization in the Albuquerque area is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support their team with basic accounting functions. This is a temporary position designed to assist the accounting department in catching up on backlogged tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities For Part Time Accounting Assistant:

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and processing

• Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records

• Assist with organizing and managing electronic files using ImageRight

• Enter and verify data within Sage 100 accounting software

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic spreadsheets and reporting tasks

• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed

Qualifications For Part Time Accounting Assistant:

• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping support role

• Proficiency with Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with ImageRight or similar electronic filing/document management systems is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work approximately 10 hours per week on a flexible schedule

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation For Part Time Accounting Assistant:

$20-$25 Hourly (DOE)
