Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Property Accountant/Accounting Manager to manage the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 10+ properties. This role will be responsible for month-end close, investment accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong property management accounting experience and a deep understanding of real estate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Handle investment accounting, tracking capital contributions, distributions, and returns.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Develop and maintain forecasts and budgets for properties in the portfolio.
• Collaborate with property management teams to ensure proper accounting for leases, expenses, and revenues.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance with real estate accounting standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in property accounting operations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of property management accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of investment accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in property management accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, RealPage).
• Experience with GAAP and real estate accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
