• S ervice Setting: Hospital – UPMC Altoona.

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p (1 week per month).
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 24/7 during scheduled week.
• Call Type: Beeper (30-minute response required).

• Call Response Time : 30 minutes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (mileage, airfare, lodging, parking, rental car, ground transportation)
•   Lodging Cap: $150/night (no incidentals; Syncx preferred hotel list provided)
• Rental Car: Mid-size cars (Apr–Nov: $50/day cap; Dec–Mar: Mid-size 4WD SUVs $75/day cap)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• General Urology procedures (specific list not provided).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•   Licenses : Pennsylvania (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license).
•   Board : Board Certified in Urology.
•   DEA : Active DEA Certification required.
•   Certifications : ACLS
•   Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty.
• Other Qualifications : Comfortable with outpatient clinic + 24/7 call coverage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage (light patient volume).
• Be available for 24/7 call during scheduled week with 30-minute response time.
• Collaborate with APPs who round and manage consults during the day.
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR system.
